BestTop Rear Tire Carrier?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the BestTop rear tire carrier. I am getting ready to buy something to haul a spare 33" and like the idea of it. No need to swing an extra carrier out of the way or spend $600 to do it like the bumper combos I see. I already have a Warn rear bumper...just not the right one. I also think my wife will appreciate it better also...since she occassionally drives it. Any input would be great....Thanks!!

Refresh my memory. Does the BestTop have a spindle on the bumper or does it mount to the body of the Jeep?

it mounts like the OR-FAB one does through the body, but the bestop one swings open when you open the tail gate... they are attached i believe

I thought of getting one too, make sure you post up how it works out if u decide to get it im curious

The body mounted tire carrier is one of those arguments like short arm or long arm lift.

A lot of people have had issues with tub cracking from those body mounted tire carriers. Some haven't. Just something to keep in the back of your mind.

I'm running one right now with a 33" on it. Works great, mounts through the tub and swings open with the tailgate. I want to replace it with the OR-FAB swing away jerry can carrier though to get the extra fuel. Just cant bring myself around to drop another $600 right now, been spending money left and right on this damn thing!
