Bolt-on?

You said you cut the old stuff off, did you have to do any welding to install the new?

I agree with the statement about an intake making the system complete.. I first installed the AEM Bruteforce and didn't feel anything until I installed the Monster...

The mid pipe bolted up to the maifold and then the rest of the system is clamped together with 2 strap type heavy duty clamps and one U-type clamp, super air tight too

i welded the Polished tip on because it would have looked bad with a clamp holding it on (its visible). I did think about welding in the little channels the pipes have in them but once it was all where i wanted it, sinched down the clamps i realized how sturdy it was so i left it, work great!

plus if something crushes etc... ill be able to undo the clamp and pull out the bad section, or swap out mufflers etc... with ease

The first mod I do to any vehicle is an intake. I prefer the K+N. My 00' Laredo V8 4.7L loved it and the I6 4.0 01' Wrangler did not hate it. The Wranglers exhaust is getting to the point of replacement, so I will let you know of any improvement.
When I get to it.

P.S. how much did yours cost?
