I have a bone stock 2003 TJ and I was given a set of 33x12.5 on 15in rims. Will these fit and if not, would just putting rim spacers on help? They would be really helpful in this crazy weather here in Edmonton, AB! Thanks for any help or suggestions!
You need at least 3" of lift, preferably 4" to utilize 33's without eating your fenders and/or fender flares...with 2" of lift, you may be able to squeeze them in, but they'll hit the fenders even over small speed bumps.
You'll also need either wheel spacers or new wheels with less backspacing, even with a lift.

I drove my '02, stick, no lift at all with 33/12.50's on 15x10's with no contact at all. Granted this was just daily driving, interstates and surface streets. No offroad, no flexing. Not a long term thing, but it can be done.
