Biggest tires posible!?

So I'm getting an '02 TJ and it's my first car so obviously I'm a student. A high school student. what's the biggest size tires I can get on the stock rims without a lift? I plan on getting a 4" lift eventually but I want to go ahead and get the tires. Help a kid out?

My friend has 32" wildpeaks with a little rub. He had 31" before with no problems. I would get the 31" now and wait for the lift for bigger tires. Welcome to the high-school jeepers club

Just get a 2 inch spacer lift kit with shocks and you will be able to clear 32x11.5 inch tires. Your young man (no need for a 4 inch lift yet), like me except im a sophomore in college. Those will be more than fine and they will have all the girls jumpin on your rig haha

Buy a long arm kit without doing research like everyone else.

Here's my advice. Buy some used 31s locally. Read and research. Save up your hard earned minimum wage money and your birthday and Christmas cash. And buy or piece together a good quality lift and the rest of the components you need for your goal. Then buy tires to fit that build with the big $

And remember when you buy tires there's more than just tires you are going to need. You will need bigger gears and possibly new axels depending on if your wheeling or not.

Next thing don't ever go wheeling alone. Yea I was in high school once about a year ago. Thought I was invincible. Fact is your not. Always go with another rig. And be sure they know what they are doing. Just because your friend says he does, dontes mean he does... Truth is he prolly doesnt have a clue and he's never been off roading.

Oh and one more thing. Don't forget to wave!

Jeeps

Just
Empty
Each
Pocket

Have a good time with the jeep. It's the most enjoyable vehicle on earth
