Bikini top holding water

Springtime is here, almost time for bikini top and and afternoon T-storms. I have a safari style bikini. I think it is a Besttop. I have had it for a few years and am not sure if I am putting it on correctly. Where it wraps around the roll bar on both the drive and passanger sides it dips slightly causing water to pool and pour in on me when I take off. It sucks when I show up at work soaked. Am I doning something wrong or is that just an issue with the top?

That is the downside of the bikini top...

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!

I think Quadratec sells something that bolts across the top of the door frames and 'bows' the top out to prevent just what you are describing - instead of collecting the water just runs off right away.

If you have the boomerang door jambs that comes with all TJ soft tops, you can snap the bikini top sides into them like how the soft top mounts. That will make the bikini top significantly tighter and reduce how much water can collect in the bikini.

X2..........good answer Jerry.

I just picked some of those up last week, and they really do tighten up the Safari Top, and or Bikini Top.

You know, if your Jeep's boobs are holding water, it might be pregnant.

Better get another room for one of these:
