BL w/ 31's and shocks

Greetings.

Very soon I plan to purchase 31" tires with a 1" BL. I wanted to ask if a 1" BL will clear 31's with no problem/rubbing. The wheels will be 15x8's as well. I was thinking of purchasing the Daystar 1" BL. Seems to have decent reviews. Can't afford a suspension lift at this time.

Also, I was thinking about replacing my shocks as well during the process. I plan on installing myself. I was thinking of getting Bilstein replacement shocks for 0" of lift for a better ride. I wanted to confirm that these shocks meant for no lift will work with the BL. To my knowledge I would only need longer shocks if I were getting a 2" or higher suspension lift correct?? If I am wrong, please let me know. It was to my understanding that since I'll only be getting a BL which replaces the stock body mounts and such that shocks at the original height will still work.

Appreciate any help.

Your rig will clear 31s stock. The body lift will not have any impact on shock length.

Save your money and don't do the body lift. You will clear it no problem. The only issue I had is the width (assuming your going 31x10.5x15's). Mine rubbed on the control arms when I turned the steering to full lock. I'm sure you're already aware of the 5 minute washer trick. Mine just needed 1 washer behind each steering stop and fixed. No more rubbing.
