Black Grill With Body Colored Lips

I know that I definitely want to paint my grill black with black mesh inserts. But I can't decide if I should leave the small lips on the inside of the slots the same color as the rest of the body to break it up a little. Has anyone done this? Some pics would be great. Desert Sand pics would be even better!

I don't think it will affect the capabilities of your wrangler either way.

heres what mine looks like before and after.
I plan on doing a few more little painting things to it.
I bedlined the grill, bumpers, undercarriage, door handles, mirrors.
I want to do part of the hood, and the fender flares.
I left the headlight bezels to match the chrome side steps
