I don't have pic, but I'm planning on painting my chrome ones black, I went to my local
4x4 shop to order the black bezels, but they would have to special order them and it came out to like $70 so I decided to spend $10 trying to paint them, and if it turns out bad, then I will order the new ones.

The black headlight bezel pictures happened a couple weeks after I bought my junk. Every picture since then should all be bed lined. Even the grill.

Two Things Robert,

A: Don't BUY them. MAKE them. Take off your chrome bezels. Prime them, paint them with Grill Paint (available at any hardware store, and is made to withstand heat- which your headlights give off plenty of) and that's it.

B: install, proceed to look bad-ass

C: Dont come pissing and moaning when the paint flakes off from road use and you have to paint them again and again then realize that you spent $4 for primer, $4 for paint, hour or so of your time each time you had to repaint them.

D: for $27, I'll save myself the hassle. I painted my chrome grill inserts black and they lasted about a week.

I have been looking for either a way to tint my flasher and side marker lenses or replacing them with smoked but have not had much luck yet; can you help?

you guys need to learn the importtance of prep work. I painted mine black over a year ago and they still look as good as the day i painted them. You have to scuff the chrome finish with sand paper and prime it with self etching primer before you can put paint on it.

X2 I did the spray paint route...painted them twice before I bought the black ones.

yeah, for $27 I'll just buy them, I guess I didn't really do my research but my 4x4 shop was having to special order them and pay all kinds of fees so I opted out, but I don't think you can beat $27, IMO

I think I spent 25 dollars on bed liner. Dropped them off and they were finished that afternoon. The entire bezel is encapsulated in bed liner. It doesn't come off.

I found the time yesterday to paint mine black, and all was going well until I took them off and realized they are plastic , so it was back to square one, long story short I went ahead and painted them, they look really good black, but the paint job isn't worth a crap so I just ordered some online.

Its simple. start with 180 grip paper and sand em until the dot markings are gone. then 600 wet and it gets them all clean and smooth. Even though i paint, i just rattle can them with black spray paint and then hit them with clear. Put them on and your done.

I've got krylon fusion for plastic I'm trying it tomorrow. I'm not even going to bother unless I scuff and prime. Well see how long it lasts!
