I have a BM lift in my Jeep, Bought it that way, i dont know if it comes with shocks or not but the only complaint I have is it rides wicked hard. I am going to install new shocks this winter. hoping to smooth it out a little.
Other than that the Jeep sits nice and I have had no problems so far.
My brother-in-law bought one for his 99 a couple of years ago. Not a bad lift for the money; but it still has a pretty stiff ride. It stems from the lift springs. Cheaper lifts use springs with single spring rates were more expensive lifts use progressive spring rates. In other words; as the coil starts to compress it is in the softer portion of the coil. Then as it progresses past a certain compression; it begins to get harder.
If you are interested in the Black Mountain lift, go to Collins Brothers Jeep website. They sell these lifts & cheaper than the people that you found. They also sell them on Ebay. Thought I'd pass that on to you. If I can help save you some $$$ the more things you can buy later. I'm all about buy things @ a bargin.
