Black or Chrome Wheels?

2006 wrangler x with a white body and black top. What color wheels and model/name brand suggestions if anyone has any?

Black is popular. Chrome and diamond plate are out.

It's what I have except mine are polished instead of black. I'm actually currently trying to sell mine with a set of tires too.

After I sell those I plan on going to the black 7069s

Used to hate black but now it's a clear winner for me.

That picture should be your avatar, just like it is (upside down). And for location, you should say "the opposite side of the world". If you don't do it, I have dibs on the idea.

Black. That's my vote.

? I was saying it'd be kinda cool to use that picture, upside down, as an avatar. Then underneath, where it says location you put "the other side of the world". Get it? It looks like your Jeep is on the far side of the world?
Lol. Kinda loses something in translation I guess. Never mind, i'll use it.

Edit: The picture was upside down on my phone a few minutes ago. Sorry. Ignore me, I'm hopped up on O'Douls.

At least when there are no more Jeeps, there will still be beer and memories of Jeeps.

Black vs chrome vs polished etc. aside, steel wheels are HEAVY, nearly twice that of a similar aluminum wheel. This affects balance and drivability. The steel Xtremes I had (have) weigh about 34 pounds and took a handful of lead weights to balance and they still shook and vibrated. The MTs are about 17 pounds and with the SAME tires, remounted, I have on the most, two ounces on one and only .5 oz. on the least. And they roll jet smooth now.

Black looks good but some of my black steels have chipped but you can always touch it up with touch up paint of the cheap way of sharpies.

Black. Just had the same debate on my Black TJ. Wound up sticking with black as the chrome didn't look as good.

This is what I went with, because I don't care for the all black look.

To me black wheels always look dirty but maybe thats the point. I like polished aluminum better than chrome.
