Blinker Issue!!! HELP! HELP!

If anyone can help me with my blinker issues I would be very thankful. I have a 1999 Jeep Wrangler (TJ). My issue is when I turn on my left blinker everything works great even the flasher relay makes the correct noise. The left blink even works correct around the vehicle when I have my light's turned on, but when I turn on my right blinker the flasher relay click's like it is suppose to, but all the lights begin to flash around the vehicle. Also when I turn on my lights and try to engage the right blinker nothing happens and the flasher relay sounds as if it's shorting out. The flasher relay will click one or twice and then goes quiet. I thought it might have been the multi-function switch so I changed it out and the problem still exist. Any help concerning this matter will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Mark

My left blinker is doing the same thing. I have not had the chance to replace the relay yet. I might do that this weekend after the Truck and Jeep fest in San Mateo, CA.

I have ordered the relay and it should be here in the next couple of days. I will let you know if this fixes the problem.

Thanks
Mark

As crazy as it might sound I had a bad ground on my tail lights which was causing the same thing. You might want to check and clean the screens that good into the body sometimes they build rust and cause ground problem

I had the same problem, and it turned out to be a messed up ground from when the previous owner had spliced the third brake light into one of the tail lights. I'm a moron with auto electric, so I ended up having the dealer fix it.
