Blowing water

I've noticed over the last few days, while warming up the TJ, it seems to be blowing a fair amount of water from the tail pipe. Is this normal? Everything else seems to be ok. Runs fine, starts fine.

Let me tell ya somethin'

Yes it's normal. Water is a byproduct of combustion. You just don't notice it when it's warm because you don't warm up the Jeep. It still drips, but you're driving and can't see it...

If you do a lot of local short trip driving you accumulate a lot of water in the exhaust. I do a lot of interstate driving, 100 a day, and do not warm up my TJ. Just start and go as soon as the oil pressure is up. So I do not see it.

That makes sense. I've just never seen that much water from any of my vehicles. The other thing I noticed the other day was the smell of gear oil after driving home from work. It's not leaking anywhere. It's a distinct smell of gear oil. I've been drive with my OD off. would that have anything to do with it?

Axle seals I think, my buddy with a Cherokee has that problem. It burns off with his brakes or something
