Body and Suspension lifts

I'm looking at raising my 97 TJ Wrangler and I wasn't sure how high I can raise it before I will need to consider tampering with the angle of the drive sharft and control arms

Pretty sure 3" is the max before angles become a problem on a TJ..

Every jeep reacts diferent to being lifted. Some can go 3.25" in suspension w/o issues and I have seen some with 2.5" get horrible driveshaft wobble. In my opinion the safest route is a OME suspension kit with JKS 1.25" BL and 1" MML.

I have a Rough Country 3.25" lift & 1.25" BL with no vibe issues at all, but like someone else said, it changes Jeep to Jeep, they are all different. I was prepared to do a MML or some exotic shimming of the T-case, but I didn't have to do a thing.
