body lift

What is the best brand for a body lift? The prices range from about $95 to $150 and i do not know if they are better, more in them, not a complete kit ect.

one more question: would a 2 inch body lift look bad with a three inch lift with 33 tires?

JKS sucks. It doesnt do anything about the steering, it doesnt do anything about the fuel filler.

There are been couple reports about the plastic around the fuel cap cracking because of the shortness of the fuel filler hose that the JKS bl does not extend.

I got a 2" bl and it came with everything you need to do that. It extended the fuel filler hose.. it came with steering bracket.. it came with some other extending pipe by the fuel filler hose. Very complete kit.

I also flipped the step frames so now i dont have a big gap on my stock steps and also i flipped the rear bumper and it closed the gap from the bl perfectly but will not work with 1" bl (all i need is put a strip of sheet metal on top to cover up a small gap).

i agree trip the bumper flip WILL NOT work w/a 1 in bl... I barely got it to work w/the jks 1.25 BL... now as far as the bofy kit goes.. i would like to have had the steering relocation bracket that PA offers.. something about these angles just doesnt seem safe.. but i like it so far..

Yep, nice little 1" kit. totally replaces stock spacers. however kit doesn't come with shroud brackets which means you have to tap your own new holes (PITA) as opposed to some other kits.

I have to disagree with you on the JKS BL. I havent had a prob with mine and had it for a while now. Also, I flipped the rear bumper and it worked fine. Looks alot better too. Only thing I had to do for the time being, is rig my spare tire from hitting the bumper. Ill be getting a swing out soon anyway.

You take them off, you undo the bolts.. flip the bumper.. put the bolts back on and put the jugs back on.

its all rusted, and either they wont move, or when i push really hard the clip things that hold them in place snaps and then they spin freely around and around, i already tried getting them off, i got them all off except three, but thats not that helpful

nope not really, its center of gravity was a bit higher but its hardly noticeable.

I just looked on ebay it apears the seller only has YJ and CJ black mountain lifts, i'd write him a msg and ask about TJ body lifts.
