Body lift and mml question

So for christmas i got a jks 1.25 body lift and a m.o.r.e. mml i have been reading up and it seems if i install these on my 06 lj 6 speed i will have shifting issues with 2 4 6. Am i right on this? Also saw if i install a tummy tuck and a novak transfer case shifter all my shifting problem will be taken care of with my tranny and transfer case has anybody had this problem and fixed it by installing tuck and novak cable. Thanks for the help!

It seems to be hit /miss with the shifting issues on your 6 speed. Some have zero issues, some do. Most fix it by removing the foam and either trimming the console or moving it back about an 1". I would go ahead and install it, there's a good chance you will have no problems but it does seem easily fixable.

The only shifting issue I had with the 6 speed trans and the body lift was that the shifter would hit on the console in 2nd, 4th, 6th, and Rev. All I did was remove the shift lever, heat it up and bent it just enough to clear the console.

When I installed the tuck the shifter hit the dash so I had to rebend it. If you do the body lift and the tuck together you might not have any issues.

I have some extra christmas money and thinkin about waiting and gettin the UCF low clearance skid and mount. Has anybody done the ultra clearance one says u need a 2 inch body lift or a 1 inch and bending ur tub out of the way.

I have the UCF extra clearance aluminum skid (not the ultra clearance) with a 1.25 inch JKS body lift. No tub mods were required but I did add the lopro trans mount due to the high pinion angle. I would think you would need the lopro mount with the ultra clearance because the pinion angle will be even higher than the extra clearance skid.

I thought about going with the ultra clearance skid but Im glad I didnt because I think the pinion angle would be way to high for mine. I also have the Novak cable shifter which I highly recommend with the tuck, its alot easier than dealing with the factory tcase linkage.
