Body Lift Install Advice...

So I'm machining body pucks as we speak. Had a 3" body lift we took off a YJ the other day to do a spring over lift on. I've got to pick up the bolts and washers, as I'm only going to do 1.25". I've read about twenty different companies instructions on the 1.25" BL and can't seem to get any consistency between them. Some say I will need to install a transfer case shift linkage bracket, others say I won't. I do not have a t-case skid plate drop, but I am lifted 2" (suspension). I've Googled and searched all over for a few days and can't seem to find a definitive answer. Does anyone know if I'll need to do anything other than the radiator fan shroud trimming? Rough Country says not to install the t-case shift linkage bracket, while JKS says to install it. Thanks for any advice...

I really don't think you'll know for sure until its up in the air and you've adjusted the linkage as best you can as is.
This almost seems like the "Do I need a TC Drop for a 2.5" lift", some do, some don't. Can't find a rhyme nor reason for it either way.

That's kinda what I figured. I know each Jeep has a mind of its own. I've already started pulling bolts so I guess I'll find out soon enough!
