Body Lift Question

So I have recently began the build for my 01 Wrangler Sport. Just bought new tires and wheels for it. Next thing i would like to do is install a body lift. Now I've heard that they are very easy to install, which is a plus. The only thing/details that i am worried about is if I will be needing to get thicker engine mounts to compensate for the body lift. Are there any other components that will be needing an adjustment to compensate for the body lift? What is the tallest/safest body lift to install? Please understand that this is my first official self project Jeep. Open to all Answers/Questions.

You can install a motor mount lift along with the body lift, but it's not completely necessary you can move the mounting points on the fan shroud to adjust for the body lift. Some BL kits include drop brackets for the fan shroud and you can get a bracket for the transfer case shifter. Biggest lift I would go is 1.25"

What is the fan shroud? Like the place where the fan itself mounts to?

The black plastic thing mounted to the radiator itself, the fan mounts to the front of the water pump...
When you lift the body and the engine stays the same height the bottom of the fan will make contact with the bottom of the fan shroud.

Personally I would do both a BL and a MML together, well I did do that on mine. The MML will make it so you dont have to cut or redrill your shroud plus it helps with rear driveline angles. It should also help with your transfer case bracketry. As far as that goes though I would look into the Novak cable conversion for the transfer case. Its not cheap but its fantastic and makes it so you dont have to make adjustments to the brackets, plus it shifts smooth as butter. The only other thing you may have an issue with is the gas filler neck. You may have to extend it slightly.
