Bought a TJ today

I bought a 2005 TJ Rocky Mountain 35,100miles 6spd. 1 female owner, never off road, never had the doors off, a real virgin !!!!!

I plan on a few mods to make it a suitable beach Jeep, a 2" OME lift and swap the Black Rock Rims and MT Baja 31x10.5 tires that are on my YJ with the TJ wheels and tires.

The garage door at the beach house that limits the lift and tire size to 6'-4" O.A. height for the jeep.

My YJ is going up for sale this fall

Very nice. I looked at a Rocky Mountain before I bought mine. The seats were cool.

I bought it from the original owner, from her house, I did not buy it from a dealership in garfield

LMAO - It is 5'10" right now on 30's soooo a 2 or 2.5"lift on 31's should be perfect for me.

Looks like you scored a winner, there.

Our first Wrangler was a red 97 TJ Sport. It was also owned by a lady and seemed to have never been off-road.

We never had a problem with the 97. Traded it with 157K for a new 2010 JK Unlimted.

Enjoy!

drove past and seen your jeeps twin. anybody looking to score a rocky mountain for cheap theres 1 just like gryph's for sale. if you want bargaining chips, im sure pics of it under 3 feet of water would bring the price down nicely

Day 2 - Washed and waxed the jeep with my wife's help, I don't think it's been waxed in a while

Day 3 - Started mods already, a ton of crap ordered from Quadratec

Ditched those stupid corners on the F & R bumpers, painted headlight bezels.

Made appointment for professional undercoating and ordered parts for 2" OME lift.
I cannot wait to see this lifted with the Black Rock wheels and MT tires.
