bought my first jeep....

hey, I just picked up 04 wrangler x with 89,000 miles on it with a 4.0 all for $9500...could anyone tell me if i got a good deal...heres a few pics....also have to say that it does get lil wobbly at around 45ish.

i have a question....how do u use the command tack...i know how to get to 4h but how do u get to 4L? i try to pull up but it wont move.

Make sure your moving it to the right as your going up to get into 4L...

4h can be shifted to while moving at lower speeds (not highway speeds).

4L, shift to neutral, move lever to right a little, then pull down (up?). then put back in to gear. I think the old VHS movie says you need to moving at like 3 MPH to shift to 4L, but I don't recall exactly.

i have the same year, color and model jeep as you! got it for the same price but lower milage cause the guy needed money bad. good luck with it! oh yea and to shift into 4l, all u should have to do is put it in neutral and pull the lever up and to the right.

Nice! I also have an '04 Wrangler X but it's an automatic. What do you mean by "wobbly"? Better check that out.

if it is the beginning of death wobble, the easiest thing to check is have the tires balanced and have it aligned.
