Finally got into a wrangler after a couple weeks of looking !
Its an 05 Wrangler X 6cyl, 6 speed with 95k . All stock besides SmittyBilt sof top and "Tomb Raider" wheels from what i was told. . . Oh and Pioneer head unit. .
I've been just visiting this forums looking over old posts to get a feel about these things and since I bought mine today I couldn't wait to join the community !
Here's some pics !

Very nice!!
Great to see a stock Jeep in excellent condition - Enjoy it!!
Thanks guys ! I am already enjoying it. My Datsun finally gets to take a well needed non-op rest.

Get rid of the smittybuilt top. I have one and it leaks, flaps, is noisy, and busted zippers.

Good lookin jeep though, congrats!
Good to know thanks. I'm not a big fan of soft tops anyways I was looking for a jeep that already came with a hard top but came across this one and couldn't pass it up. Should I try to find a good condition factory hard top ? What's your guys' opinions on aftermarket hard tops ??

Welcome and congrats! If there aren't any issues with that top, I'd keep it. Much easier to go topless. By the way, seeing your location, and it can sit in the garage, I can't imagine having that top on very much anyway.

I prefer a soft top, myself. Any many here will. They can work in the winter time, and are easier to take on/off vs a hard top. I would spend the money on a good twill replacement from bestop. Thicker material, and will be a litter quieter on the road. Plus, bestop is the same manufacture that made the oem soft tops.

My smittybuilt top was brand new in 2014. WHenever there is moisture (rain, snow), the soft uppers become very damp along with the rear sides. The uppers themselves dont fit well and I had to get some rubber seals (cut from weather stripping I found at home depot) to seal completely. The rear is about the same, I have spots along the tailgate where I can fit a couple fingers thru.

Very nice, clean TJ!

FYI, I've had a Smittybilt replacement soft top skins/windows over my OEM frame for about 3 years now. I take the top up & down half of the time, and use the flip back Sunrider the other half of the time....I treat my soft top very gently & take extra care with it these days, so no issues and it is still like new.

Good luck!!

Thanks again guys. I was just informed by someone that I should replace the stock OPDA with a aftermarket one. Anyone else's opinions on this ? Sounds like a pretty cheap part that can save me a lot of headache later on. Anything else I should watch out for on this rig ?

Nice Jeep and like the wheels. And the Datsun is pretty sweet also.
Thanks guys...

I was told the wheels are off a tomb raider edition... if so should they be stamped Alcoa anywhere ?
Also how much do you think I could sell the rims and tires for ?
Tires are yokohama geolander at/s 215/75/16's I believe. basically new like 90% tread left
