I'm getting a somewhat hard brake pedal occasionally, not all the time though(It isnt so hard I think I cant stop, just doesnt feel normal).Anythin I should look for or check? Jeep is a 2004 Wrangler Rubicon 4.0. Thanks Eddie

Sounds like your brake booster might be on it's way out. Try checking the vacuum hose and the check valve going to it

check your pad sliders on the knuckles for notches/grooves from the pads.

I'm suspecting the booster also,if I slowly apply the brakes,it feels normal. If I apply quickly it is a hard pedal till I release it and apply it slower. I will check for a leak and the valve, but will plan on putting the booster on fairly quickly. Thanks Eddie
