On my 2000 TJ it is called a combination valve. Remember that very little fluid will go to the rear as the front has most of the stopping power. 70% verses 30% if I remember correctly. I would flush everything really well before getting a new valve. That is the last thing I would try.

Funny you should ask...

Ran into the same problem so had the local shop put one on order. It should be in next week.

I believe this -> Click here <- is what you are looking for.

I'll let ya know if it doesn't work...

abspowerbrake.com – can rebuild for Ó $55, 1 day to rebuild (they put new o-rings, etc..)
or I am assuming you could rebuild it yourself...go to local hardware store and get replacement orings, etc...
cheers!

The combo valve is a pretty simple device. Not much to it if you chose to rebuild it and by rebuild I mean take it apart, clean it carefully, lube the o-rings with some clean brake fluid and put it back together.

That will solve 99.9% of the problems with the TJ combo valve. Another thing you can check is to see if the dash light for your brakes is on when the parking brake is not applied. That will usually indicate that the shuttle has shifted and tripped the light because it thinks you have a leak, or you have a leak, or the valve that splits the fluid pressure is stuck and not letting any fluid go to the rear brakes.

I used to buy new ones from the dealer and just replace them, now I attempt the take-apart and clean first and haven't bought any new ones in a long time.
