Brakes pulling

Okay so a bit of a weird thing going on with my jeep. If i get on the brakes real hard from a high speed say 55 and up to zero i get a bad pull from the Jeep. The first few times it did it the jeep pulled hard left, so i just assumed i had issues with my braking components and made a note to check them. However, yesterday before i could even get to looking into my jeep issues i broke my hand. Coming back from the hospital I had to brake quickly and the jeep pulled right... WTF? Anyone have any idea what could be going on here? any suspension items you think could cause this? Any ideas would be great as i cant go tearing into things on my jeep until I get a real cast on my hand.

Have you looked at your brake components? I would first check cylinders, leaks, etc. How old are your brake lines? When brake lines start going bad, they sometimes erode from the inside and can cause this to happen. Odd that it is happening on both sides though. Anyway, I would check my brakes first. It will probably be the cheapest place to start.

I can contest to how bad it was pulling. When we stop the brakes very smoking like a chimney. lol Glad you got the brake unstuck.

I understand completely. When i left this time I told my wife not to drive my jeep b/c of the brakes. Before I left my brakes would get stuck. Usually the left would stick and as soon as you hit the brakes it would balence out and pull right. Is it every time you drive or only sometimes? Mine was kinda intermittent and I replaced front pads, rotors, and calipers for like 200 bucks and haven't had a problem since.

intermittent at best. sometimes I wonder if it is just the grading of the road. I am going to go test it out somewhere i can get consistent results tomorrow and hope to tear into it all next week when the hand gets better...
