broken door bolt

i was putting my doors back on when i broke off one of the bolts that runs through the bottom hinge on my passenger side door. As i was tightening the nut the bottom of the bolt just broke off in the nut. I know its not going anywhere cause the top on is on and the doors are on there pretty tight even without the nuts on but i'd like to replace it anyway. Does anyone know where i can get a replacement bolt for the door?

Junk yard.

Most people just leave the nuts off anyway.

Well, if you took the bolts off I could see that being a problem. The nuts, however are not necessary. I want to take my doors off I just unhook the strap and lift. 10 seconds max.

nuts off makes it easier for some jack-hole to swoop your doors.

Unless you get the tamper proof nuts, if they want em, they are gonna get em anyway. If you are in a bad place just lock the door.

soft top. I made the mistake of locking my doors at night for the first year and got each of my door windows sliced, now I leave them unlocked so ass-bags can just open them instead of cutting up my windows. I do have the door theft prevention kit, however. they can take my cd's but they will never get my doors

The problem isnt so much my insurance company as it is the police officer who filed the report. He goty it about 80% right, but missed crucial part which made him conclude that ii was "following too close" and that is making State Farm (dont even make me get started on what they did to those who actually DID have insurance during Katrina) try to not may out the money.

did he give you a FTC ticket? that sucks. I usually double check on stuff like that with the officers that take my accident reports. I reemed one that reported it wrong and it was fixed before he left. it helps to know the law
