Broken Window

Around New Years I when back home to West Virginia from South Carolina. The weather was around 15 degrees one morning and I tried to open my back window on my soft top. I unzipped each side and went to throw it back over the top of my Jeep when the whole window cracked across the middle. I knew it was cold, but I thought the window might be a little tougher then that. Has anyone else had this problem? The dealer wants to charge me $265 for a new one. Any idea where i can get one cheaper that will fit my 2006 top?

Was that you I saw in WV with duct tape across the back window last weekend?! Just playing, I did see one, but its not uncommon in WV, atleast when I am up there. I have a trail spare you can use untill you get a new window if you are still in WV. Youll go through MD to get to SC anyway. Otherwise, but my best guess is jeepasaurus or quadratec. someone will chime in soon.

Do you have tinted windows?? Quad has a 3 piece tinted window kit for $179. They fit original and aftermarket bestop tops. My best suggestion. Otherwise check ebay or other off road sites.

For that reason, I keep a spare set of windows (I also have a spare top) that I got from a friend who had sold their Jeep. I got the windows, top, door surrounds, and frame for 150.

for $265 you can get a brand new pavement ends soft top with tinted windows it uses all the factory hardware and took me 20 minutes to take the old factory top off and put on the new one.

i have had no issues with my top. it fits better than the stock one did, and not as loud as the stock top.
