Brown Dog motor mounts

More trouble than their worth, I think. Round 2 with trying to get the mount installed, one of thin washers that protect the rubber have come off, again. I'm not sure I would fault the adhesive though, the mount is too effin wide to go into the mount bracket. This time I'm going to try to remove a bit of the rubber on each side, bevel the edges of the already thin washers, and hope for the best.

That is, unless someone has a more brilliant idea?

I don't know what you are doing but it sounds all wrong to me. Mine took all off ten minutes each to install.

I put in the motor mounts this weekend and I had the same problem as well. Metal disks kept coming off - don't really have a solution, I just kept trying until they stayed on.

Yep. One side went on fine, but the other is just too tight where the through bolt goes. As thin as the metal pieces are, if I took them off I could get it to fit. That seems like a bad idea though. Oh well, I'll keep plugging away at it.
