budget boost questions

Hi all,

I was perusing the web and researching budget boosts... this site had some of the cheapest ones, but i did not know if they were legit. Anybody use these?

Inexpensive Rocky Road budget lifts for your Jeep TJ Wrangler

If I were to get them, would I need to adjust/purchase new parts to keep everything else on the jeep in line, or could i simply insert them?

i have the rocky road 2" bb for my tj. i've had it for 3 years and have wheeled with it, it works just fine. I didn't have to buy any other parts to make it work, it came with everything i needed. i have 31's on my tj, but when my husband had the same bb on his tj and he was able to fit 32's with just a little rub.

Buy good shocks, buy good wheels with proper backspacing.

I wound'nt trust them either. I went with the RE 2" BB. Been running that with 33's for over a year now. The install was pretty straight forward and the ride is nice. Wrenches/breaker bar and spring crushers are the only tools you need (beer too). Lube up all bolts REAL good before breaking them. The RE comes with good shocks. All you are installing is new shocks, bump stops and the spacers. The old springs are reinstalled.

buy spacers alone and then buy shocks alone.. you can use the stock shocks on 2" bb spacers however you will be at the limit so if you want good flex/drop when offroading, get new shocks.

spacers alone are like 60-70 bucks for all 4 corners.
