Bug Deflector

Does anyone have experience with a hood mounted bug deflector? The bugs are so bad in South Texas that the wiper and washer only smears the bugs.

From what I have seen. With such a flat windwhield a bug deflector does very little good, if any. Most of the time it only stops them from hitting the bottom of the windshield and hit the middle or top instead.

Our windshield is our bug deflector.

a bug deflector on a jeep is like a spoiler on the back of a geo metro, waste of money. go to your local autoparts store and get some bug-b-gone additive works pretty well. either that or just put your windshield down, invest in a case of surgical face shields and wear one of those every time you drive if your that worried about it
