Build Direction

Well it's finally December which means I'll be home from school soon. 10 more days till I can drive my baby around again. 33's will be stuffed under there by the time I go back for the next semester, but as of late can't decide which route I want to take and want some input.
First plan was to swap in zj springs, put on my BL, get some shiny new shocks and call it a day. Now I've been playing around with the idea of a set up metalcloaks upfront and possibly taking out my 2 inch coil spacers.

The first was is definitely cheaper initially but in my eyes is the more plain route. I know a buncha guys in my area who are sitting on 3/4 inches with 33s or will be soon. I would probably have some leftover cash for a lunchbox locker. The metal cloaks are more expensive but should be giving me more flex over the first route (right?). And if I had any desire to go up to 35s then there would be much less lift work to do. This way would rob me of some clearance though. And of course they look great.

A locker will get you further than MC fenders will any day of the week. I have MC fenders but also have lockers, but in your position I would rather have traction. I would rather make the climb that some cool guy with his MC fenders at the bottom.

x2 well said. The goal is a capable Jeep, not a mall crawler, right?
