Unhappy Bum window zipper?

I just bought a Jeep (loving it)...The back window zipper was seperated between the two pulls...I figured that if I took it off, cleaned and waxed it, it would zip back up. But, when I pull the tab to zip it up, the tracks don't go together at all! Any suggestions?

Squeeze the zipper together with pliers to reduce the gap and try again.

I agree with Wattapink. There is too much gap in the rear of the zipper to properly pull the to halves together to interlock the lugs.
