Bump stops

Today, I measured my clearance from my tires to bottom edge of my flares 5". Measured bottom of bumpstop to bottom of spring 4". When I flex disco'ed am I safe?

drive with one wheel on a ramp and you´ll see.
if your rims have the right backspacing there will be some more space under the flare.

i have 32s and 8" (20 cm) between tire and the flares. and it doesn´t rub. but when flexing the tire needs the full 8":



EDIT: and there's only 3"-4" before my axle hits the bumpstop: http://jeeptj.de/viewer.php?albid=14...e=3&imgid=2216

i think you´ll have some rubbing.

And ya got to remember that the tire doesn't go straight up, its arc's towards the center of the Jeep.

Best bet is to disco it and run it up a ramp really slowly and check. Have any loading docks near by?
