Bumpstop Extensions - Questions

hello,

i've to intall 1" bumpstop extensions. iive read that i can use some cheap hockey pucks for that is that true? what is the size of such a puck?

what size (lenght / thread) are the bolts with that the stock bumpstop is installed?
i want to buy some longer ones before i start installing the new BS extensions.

thanks i advance for your answer.
nicols-eric

at the front the stock bumpstop has contact to the axle while the tire rubs a bit:

the same at the rear:

the hockey pucks will work for the front...just glue them to the lower spring perch...or you could drill holes and bolt them but strong glue should work fine...for the rear there is a little bump thing on the lower spring perch so if you were gonna use hockey pucks for the rear you would have to cut a hole in the center of the hockey puck to fit over the bump in the rear. which means you'd have to use more than one puck in the rear or it would be sitting the same height as the bump thats there now...confusing...but you'll see what i'm talkin about.

i thought about intalling the pucks like my old BS extensions that came with my old BB.
for that i need to drill a hole in the puck and some longer bolts.

do you know which diameter the BS extension must have?
it´s the same than the inside diameter of a coil spacer.
could you pleas measure it for me? i don´t have a coil spacer here bt i want to install some o,75-1" spacers with the bumpstops.

your reading it right.
but i don´t want to drill holes for a BS on the lower spring perch. i want to install them on the top over the stock bumpstop like i did it before when i had a BB. on the rear i have to install it on the top because without it a spacer wouldn´t fit.

Dont you have the bb extensions from your bb or do you have those installed already? I think the rear perch was drilled on mine. I rather have mine distributed 50-50 than having the bump stops only on 1 side (top).

but the shops here i germany on´t have them. and shipping from he US i too expensive for this little parts.

that's why i need the diameter of these bumpstop extensions, then i can build my own ones
