busted air intake hose

Im not really sure what to call it but the little stem at the front of my motor that connects to the hair intake snapped and im wondering if/what i could do to replace that part

Are you talking about the CCV tube on the valve cover? They are notorious for breaking and cheap to replace. You should replace both the CCV and the gasket. It can be difficult getting the hardened gasket out but it is doable.

Any auto parts store will have them. They'll run around $7.
