The jeep is beautiful for sure, but it has 140,000 miles on it. I was wondering what kind of stuff starts happening to jeeps after this many miles. Im new to Jeeps and this is going to be my first one. I appreciate your help.

Ball joints, tie rod ends, ujoints, serpentine belt, idler pulleys, O2 sensors, all fluids in the vehicle, bushings at track bar/shocks/etc., shocks, all consumables you can think of.

This is what I found on my '99 I bought at 150k. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another higher mileage TJ as long as it was in good mechanical shape at the engine, transmission, transfer case, and axles. I'm about to trade mine in on another Jeep and the above list will be exactly what I o through when I get it home. It has 50k on the clock though so I don't expect as much stuff.

For some, it is easier to kill the light inside of themselves than it is to fight the darkness all around them.

Nice looking Jeep. First, What is the price? What engine, trans and axles does it have? It looks to be already lifted so that is a plus. Im new to jeeps myself and have a 2000 Jeep with only 72,000 miles and it still runs very strong. I'm not sure of any issues other than cracking cylinder head problems on these model years, but if maintenance/service was done when required it should be ok. If the price is right, buy it and have fun. It aint nothing that cant be fixed and alot of jeep experts on here have the knowledge to fix it or make it better.
