I would say paint it yourself much cooler and you get to make your own twist on the camo. IT would be more work but much more rewarding afterwards.

If you do it yourself you can go get different leaves and such from your area and use them as stencils. Then you can use as many different colors as you like and over lay each.
If your using it for hunting or just hiding it is going to work better with the foliage that is from your area and will blend much better

My Dad kids me about painting my Jeep Olive Drab. I am tempted to do it and put the old military style tires and rims on it just for the hell of it. That and I do not think there are to many Jeeps made over that way. My Jeep is Forest Green with a black hard top.

^ still one of the most badass jeeps I have ever seen! If that thing had a highline kit on it and long armed with 3in of lift then it would be the best out there! Cain really over did it on this one!!! Kind of thinking to doing it to mine (in the same fashion)

That OD Jeep is awsome. I thought about painting mine a desert sand color to resemble my humvee from the military.

around 700 to do the whole thing. ouch!!! with that much you could do it yourself rhinoline the whole jeep and camo paint over that for texture and feel and still have alot of money left over. looks good but very expensive.

Nothin' special. 6" lift (4" Rough Country+2" spacers) and 32x11.5 BFGs. 4 cyl, 5 speed. Just picked it up for back and forth to work. Might throw some 35s on it... needs more tire with that 6" lift I feel. Before anyone says it, I had 35s on my YJ (SPOA) 4 cyl. 5 spd., so I know what a pooch it'll be!

I imagine I'll get profiled as a redneck for driving this thing, but I'll let you in on a secret: I don't even like NASCAR!

Not sure what it cost. The previous owner used "Real Tree" camo. It's got some minor issues up close, but not too bad for his first time! If I get tired of it, just peel it off ... it's teal underneath.

Years ago I had a '46 Willys CJ2A with 10" suspension and 2" body lift and ran 44s. Well, there were a few times (for one reason or another) that I had to run it on stockers for a while. THAT looked funny!

Wow! Tough crowd! Well, this is the best I can do: a crappy cell phone pic of an old 8x10 of it at a car show. This was in 1984 or so... you know-BEFORE digital cameras or the 'Net! Started with a $1000 buy out: 1 rusted out but complete and running Jeep, 1 nice shape steel body, and a couple spare motors, frames, axles... you name it. Wish I could find a deal like that again! Did all the work myself but the paint. Was still the flat head 4 cyl. Thank god for the stock 5.38 to 1 axles or it never would have moved under it's own power!

If you look closely, on the hood you can see a model I built when I was probably 12 or so by combining a few kits. Years later, at age 19 or 20, I then built the '46 to resemble the model!
