Can I do this?

Is it possible to use regular soft top upper doors on a hard top, or do I have to buy the upper door sliders?

I believe you need the sliders. I think the tops are plastic all around, not the metal bar through fabric. You could use the soft door uppers, but I imagine that the soft uppers would flap at higher speeds, probably if you go fast than 30mph.

^^ wrong^^
you can use what you have, the sliders use the exact same outside dimensions anyways, its just a replacement for the inside

also you could buy a hardtop with half doors from the factory,

all you need to do is take off the door surrounds (plastic thing that the doors close onto attached to roll bar) and then drop the hard top on!

and they dont flap either they have a metal frame in then ;-)

well if you're gonna pay to get the hardtop it makes sense to pay the extra to get them, since most ppl get hard tops for better insulation so you might as well not do it if you have half tops that leak heat like a sieve
