can src smitybilt rocker guards support Jeep being lifted from hilift

I have src smittybilt rocker guards. And I was wondering if I can use my hi lift Jack to Jack the Jeep up by putting the Jack on the rocker guards. They bolt into the frame with 4 self taping bolts at each end. I don't want to try it and bend those bolts if they can't hold it. I know u can usually Jack from the rocker guards but these are smitybilt and I don't fully trust their bolts. What do you guys think. Thanks

What are you jacking from the rocker guards for? If it's for changing tire duties, don't use your Hi-Lift for that since it is a totally usafe tool for that purpose. No matter how tall your suspension lift is, your factory OE bottle jack is more than tall enough to easily change 35" tires and even 37" in a pinch. The reason being that you should be jacking your tires up from the axles, not from the rockers or bumpers. I use my OE bottle jack to change my 35" tires if I'm not around my floor jack. For example, 35" tires only raise the axle 2.5" higher than 30" tires do and your OE jack is more than capable of handling that small amount of additional height.
When you have a choice, buy American.

Smittybilt SRC stuff is fairly thin wall....Even if the self tapping bolts held, you'll prolly bend the tubes.

If nothing else, consider installing thru bolts and crush sleeves in frame to prevent frame collapse...just drill bolt holes to accept larger size and fab sleeves from steel tubing...Heck, bent rocker guards kinda look cool, yaknow?
