Can you believe this????

So on my lunch break today i went to Tractor Supply to get new pins for the ones that came off my discoes. i had the 2 link peices in my glove box since they broke, along with my favorite pair of work gloves (for when i get stuck/break stuff on the rig). so i get to tractor supply and open up the glove box to get the links so i could get the right size pins. only to find out some a** hole stole the two links and my damn gloves. WTF??? i have like 500 dollars worth of stereo equipment, not to mention my big logging chain, a tow strap, and my 250 dollar adjustable 3 ball hitch in the thing. and they steal my links and gloves!!!! its not like they are copper or anything....im pissed!!!

Sorry to hear about your bad news. It could have been a lot worse though.... but that doesn't make you feel better.

I have the Rubicon Express Gen II discos... I really like them. However, make sure you disconnect before you hit the trail and don't be a slacker. Otherwise you'll be buying a new pin. They'll pop off the lower perch under stress if you have the sway bar connected.

unreal, yet believable. As I had mentioned earlier this year: My center console and glove box are both broken now for a matter of $2-3 bucks in change. Stereo and everything else still there. People are idiots

I'd say look in the back corner of your garage where you put them to do something you forgot you did in your glove box.

how much do those run?? and how do they compare to the jks's ive heard people raving about? i always disconnected before the trail. the pin actually came out on the road believe it or not. i guess i should have replaced the missing codder pin on that one earlier

Cotter keys can be pushed out by the tire if the stud they are mounted in is positioned wrong. I used to run Tera's QDFT quick disco and I was going through cotter keys like popcorn until I figured out I had missed the part in the directions saying to mount the stud for it in the top-most part of the frame, not mid-way up where I mounted mine at first.

I like the JKS Quicker Disconnects. The Customer service at JKS can't be beat! I like Rubicon Express products as well and they have great customer service too. You can get them for around $100 if you look around.

What you posted is not the complete kit. Those tubes extensions are for upgrading an exisiting RE kit (e.g. if you had their discos and wanted to go higher from 33"s to say 35"s). What you have there is missing the end links....

However, I'm glad you posted this. I was wondering if they had such a kit for when I go with the 35's later down the road.

the reason i was looking at them is because i already have the end links and i was thinking i may be able to just get the new tubes and save some money...

I bought a pair of JKS variable front spring adapters and it's nice equipment. Top material and quality.
