Canadian Question?

Hello, can anyone tell me the Canadian Laws on fenders in Ontario? I live in Florida and am coming up to Owen Sound, Ontario (Jan to Feb). I want to drive my LJ up, however, I have the Metal Cloak (arched) fenders and my 37x14.50'15's stick outside of the fenders about 8 inches... I really don't want to get to the Peace Bridge and get turned away... It would make for a long drive home to get my Truck...

Thank you all.

I believe the laws only apply to where you register your vehicle but I'm probably wrong

Never hurts to call the border , when your in shouldn't be a big issue unless your speeding and being an idiot than they'll nab you with any fine they can squeeze out

im not sure but I think the tires can only stick out 1" from the fenders that I know of anyways. I don't know if its an absolute law are more of a warning. I do know that there is a truck dealer by my parents that sells every truck with a 4+ lift and tires that are only half covered by the fenders.

Don't lose sleep over it, cops really don't care how much the tires stick out on a Jeep yet alone Canada Customs, I am sure they would not know what to do with it or even look at it unless they suspected contraband or guns !
DO NOT TRY AND BRING A GUN INTO CANADA OR YOU WILL BE ARRESTED RIGHT ON SPOT !
I drive my 32 Deuce Coupe all around and never get pulled over with it and it's kit car registered in 1986 ..
I see no sense in calling the border , they will not know what to do as they aren't cops , I have a cousin that is a border agent and will ask him about it and post back but I think I already know what he is goind to say
Here are the fenders on my 32, or lack of :

I got no fender flares at all on the front of my jeep and have 12.5 wide tires, i have not ever had any issues with tickets or anything, flicks quick the bit of water on rainy days quite funny.
