nice work, kris. it looks as if your front bar mounts to the windshield frame, right? i wish i had your metal working expertise. but, i have been looking to purchase a similiar commercially made rack. first i have to remove the 3 torx screws on each side of the windshield frame. thats where i find a problem. i cant get them loose. i have snapped off two T40 bits, and the screws are still tight as the day they were put on. is there a trick to getting these critters loose without heating with a torch, which will destroy the paints finish around each screw? i am fearful of stripping the screw's torx socket. then i would be "screwed"! it all looks so easy in the how to video! any suggestions?
