Can't afford a flash bumper - Help!!!

Hi, I can't afford a flash aftermarket front bumper....

Does anyone know of any aftermarket brackets I can purchase that will allow me to hang a pair of D shackles off my standard TJ front bumper - or any simple mods that I can have done to my standard front bumper that will allow me to hang a pair of D shackles.

Help!!!

a to z fab's bumper mounting kit is under $100 and has d-ring tabs. you'll need to call them to get the tabs welded in for you before shipping but its what I'm running on my YJ. simple and effective.

I hadn't seen this one before. That's pretty spiffy!

smittybilt probably makes a nice bumper in your price range. I got the XRC stinger on amazon for $150 free shipping and no tax! Checkout smittybilt not sure what their pricing is now but they have D-ring mounts welded in. Also why do you need d-ring mounts. Tow hooks would do the trick if you need them for recovery points. Rugged Ridge is also owned by smittybilt, you may find a cheap bumper from them too.

Since those are a single bolt mount, you could attatch them to the bottom of the stock bumper very easily if you wanted them at a lower position also!

Oh no no no, they use both of the top bumper bolts. Otherwise they would not be strong enough. If you look at the picture on Quadratec's website you can see 2 bolt heads on top.
