Ok, so me and the loving were out shopping yesterday and enjoying a beautiful sunny fall day in my Jeep.
We were heading home and I turned a corner and suddenly heard this terribly loud hissing noise, OH OOHHHH. Got the TJ off to the side and had a look at the right rear and low and behold there was a pair of scissors, ya scissors sticking out of the side of my brand new (less than 5K km's) BFG AT's. What burns my butt is they went through the sidewall and the cut is at least an inch long, can you say tree swing.
It was a beautiful day and I got to drive my jeep for a change so it wasn't all that bad I guess. Looking forward to getting my Loving's new truck so she will give my Jeep back, but that's a completely different story.
Sometimes that stuff happens. I SHREDDED a 33" Mickey Thompson Baja Claw Radial a year and a half ago on the highway. I guess I ran over something in the road, but it just SHREDDED. That was a nice costly replacement. Haven't had any problems since. (Knock on wood)
Americans sleep safely in their beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do them harm...

I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you with tears in my eyes, if you f**k with me, I'll kill you all.....
Yeah, I have to give kudos to Big O. Bought a used car and got a flat, went to Big O to buy new tires. They told me the flat was one of THEIR tires and would be replaced for free. I had no paperwork or receipts, and had not even noticed it was a Big O brand tire.
I've only had this jeep for about 1500 km's and the PO put on the rubber with a road hazard warranty from Costco, only good for the original purchaser though. So the tire, mounted (heh heh, he said mounted) & balanced $212.00 bucks taxes in. Yeeesh, I coulda spent that on body lift or winch mount. Guess I'm working a couple hours OT this week.
