Can't get soft top back window off. Need answer ASAP

Hey guys,

As some of you know, the jeep is new to me. I am taking the soft top off (sliding it back) for the first time. I unlatched the front latches by the windshield, took off side windows but the rear window just wont budge. I have it all the way off except the zipper. only problem is there is two zippers. If it were one zipper I could probably get it off right away..

Let me know what you think. Need to get going soon and want the top down!

Thanks!

~ Phil

Both zippers should be on the driverside
Put both zippers all the way at the bottom and pull the window up
Tailgate should be open and she should come up

Make sure the plastic keeps that hook to the tailgate bar are unhooked also

On mine you pull both zippers to the left and to the bottom, then the panel will lift out.

Tried both of these guys. I think the zipper might be bent or something because there was no other way to do it. Anyway, we just rolled up the rear window but in the future I want to figure this out

That's all I have to do. Will both zippers go all the way down on the driver's side? Zipper might have skipped a tooth(if that makes sense).

The first time I removed my back window I had a hell of a time, first the driver side zipper was frozen, and I was also without that last zipper piece, the silver piece, so I had to kinda just push it back in there and hope I got the zip right XD

But I just unzip to the driver side and give it a tug it usually just comes out, maybe look into some form of zipper cleaner/lube they sell them for your soft top.

Did you roll up the back window and take the top down? did that ruin your window?!

spray some silicone on the zipper and stuck area. Get a pair of pliers on the zipper handle for extra grip strength. Unzip with the pliers one way while you pull the window the opposite way with the other hand.
