Canyon rims to replace soft 8's

I picked up some Canyon rims that will need some TLC today. I'm debating if I should just go with clear coat, or customize them a little. (Yes, I know I need spacers.)

I don't think painting them black would look right on Canyon's BUT that's just my opinion. Definately clear coat is a good idea tho depending on how much TLC they need. Why not post a pic to get a better idea?

I'll see if my smart phone (and me!) is smart enough to manage it...

The wheels don't look bad, mostly just damage to the originak clear coat.
