Cb wrangler antennas

I bought the great stainless bracket with antenna from Quadratec. Very nice but is there other antennas that will fit on their bracket to work better. The bracket allows a firefly FL4 firestik to screw on. What would use the same screw on thread and be better than the firestik? Will a 103 inch whip screw on? Would it work? Thanks Ron

It's hard to beat the performance of a 2' to 4' fiberglass antenna like Firestick's FS series with their adjustable tips for tuning purposes. Not to mention most 4x4 clubs & organized 4x4 events banned antennas longer than about 48-52" for safety reasons. Most clubs & events who actually enforce the rules will not allow a 102" no matter what, even with its tip tied down.

My 2' Firestick FS-2 gets out for miles & works fine. I can't tell the difference between it and the previous 3' and 4' antennas my TJ used to have.
