change over

how had is it to change a 4 cyl motor to a 6 cyl motor with a 5 speed on a 98 wrangler????

You need to also change the tranny. New engine mounts etc etc etc.. Sell the 4cly and buy a 6cly is far easier...

i know its not what you wanna hear, but its basically as much work as swapping any engine that didn't get put there in the first place. you need all the parts to put it in, and the motor mounts on the frame are different, fabrication required.

it is cheaper, and easier all in all to sell the 4 banger and buy a jeep with a 4.0.
