Changed my spark plugs....

after doing some reading here, I decided to change out my plugs. I got a set of Champion double platinum ( currently a $2 rebate per plug ). When I pulled out my existing plugs the gap on them was in excess of .065. The electrode was well worn down. I'm hoping to realize an improvement in my MPG's. My Rubicon has @ 68,000 miles on it, and i'm assuming they were the original plugs. I will have to check the plugs on my 2002 Silverado to see how they are.

When I bought my '05, it got less than 11mpg. Like yours, the plugs were gapped wrong. After changing them (also Champion double platinum) and replacing the 165 degree thermostat with the correct one, I get about 17mpg. Hope you have the same luck.
