Changing Spider Gears a big job?

Never really been in a diff deep before. I do have some buddies who say there comfortable doing it and its not a big deal. I am just nervous I guess. I have to order up some Spicer Dana 44 spiders because the ones in this TJ. Has older Dynatrac 44 with trac-loc.
