Changing the Differential Fluid Tomorrow, Questions

Posted this in the General Discussion Forum, but thought I might get some more TJ-specific answers here:

Changing the diff. fluid on my own for the first time tomorrow morning, and was wondering about fluid temp before changing. I always run my 99 TJ Sport at least around the neighborhood a couple times to get the oil warm before changing as the heat thins it out a bit and helps to get the oil to drain more easily. Should I do the same for the diff. fluid, as it is an even more viscous fluid than the 10w30? If so, how long should I run in 4wd to get the front warmed up enough? Is a trip or two around the neighborhood sufficient, or does it need more than that since it is so thick? Also, I haven't checked the repair manual yet. Does anyone know off the top of their head how much gear oil the Dana 30 and 35 take?

Thanks to all in advance!
