Chassis Saver

So I plan on taking care of the rust on my frame this weekend. It isn't too bad but I want to get on it before it get worse. Is there any advise you would like to give before I start this process?

I have already bought hopefully everything I need to take care it. I plan on sanding everything down with a wire brush, washing it with regular car cleaner and then applying chassis saver (black gloss).

Figured I get this done before winter hits.

I would skip the black gloss andjust go a satin or flat black. Gloss is shinny.

If you haven't gotten more out of the insurance company than you deserve, then you haven't screwed them nearly as much as they have been screwing you for the past xx years.

Decided to take a half day. Done with most of the sanding. Been using a drill with a wire bit, seems to work well.

It is actually High Build Jet Black.

I just spent a weekend doing this.

Before I painted I sprayed Permatex onto the entire frame, into every nook and cranny. It dries in no time. I also applied it to every body seam I could see. I even coated the axles and driveshafts.

I went gloss black. No regrets.
